Little goat Oliver was rescued in early 2013 from the middle of nowhere. He was tethered with plastic ties with no shelter, food or water. He enjoys his freedom at the shelter and following Maria around and is a very sweet natured boy.
This stunning boy came to us in an awful malnourished state. As you can see, he's now a healthy and content young Toggenburg gentleman. He craves attention and often presses his horns on us to demand a scratch!
These two brothers are often taken for a walk up the village in an attempt to keep them occupied and tire them out so they won't be so naughty (doesn't really work, though!) and we often get strange looks!
This lovely girl lives with Ralph, Molly, Marshall and Maisie. She is friendly, but a little more shy than the others, so takes her time getting to know new people. After she gets used to you, she loves to come up to you for a scratch and some fuss.
A beautiful Kune Kune pig (rare breed from New Zealand), sister to Tammy. They love being scratched and a lot of fuss. These pretty girls are the first we see as we get to the shelter in the morning and they welcome us with grunts.
